The Ontogenetic System of Special Biological Programs (the 3rd Biological Law)

Short Definition:

The Third Biological Law shows us that every special biological program has evolved in only one of four germ layers. This allows us to decipher conflict content based on which specific germ layer is manifesting symptoms.

Explanation:

With his discovery of the First and Second Biological Laws in 1981, Dr. Hamer understood that every cancer begins with a Dirk Hamer Syndrome and a biological conflict in the psyche. and that once this biological conflict is resolved in the psyche, the organism shifts (at the psyche, brain, and organ level) into a healing phase. Every cancer could now be understood as either an active-phase (“cold”) event or healing-phase (“hot”) event.

Initially calling it “The Ontogenetic System of Tumours,” Dr. Hamer realized that there was yet another biological law which was determining the formation and behaviour of cancers: the evolutionary history of the body system in which the cancer formed. As he put it:

“The interconnections and relationships of symptoms, body tissues, their corresponding brain relays, and the conflict content within the psyche were so fundamentally new to conventional medicine that nothing even vaguely equivalent exists in standard medical diagnosis and treatment.”
~Summary of the New Medicine: Presentation to comply with the qualification as lecturer of 1981, at the University of Tübingen

Those relationships can be summarized as follows:

  • Every biological conflict in the psyche also has a corresponding germ-layer-related brain relay, a corresponding Hamer focus, a corresponding organ/tissue, and a corresponding histological formation through the course of the special biological program
  • “Old-brain”-directed special biological programs relaying from the brainstem and the cerebellum, show multiplication in the conflict-active phase and destruction or caseation of the tumours (by appropriate microbes) during the healing phase.
  • “New-brain”-directed biological special biological programs (relaying from the cerebral medulla and the cerebral cortex) show cell loss (or functional loss) in the conflict-active phase. There will be cell replenishment or cell proliferation in the healing phase if there was cell loss in the active phase, followed by cell replenishment and return of function during the healing phase.
  • Every so-called “illness,” in both the conflict-active phase and the healing phase, is a meaningful biological occurrence that makes logical sense in embryology and animal behavioural research. Every symptom presents us with an opportunity to solve an unusual and unforeseen biological problem.

In practice, Dr. Hamer quickly discovered that all idiopathic diseases conformed with the First and Second Biological Laws), and could be mapped into this ontogenetic system.

In 1987, he named this third biological law, “The Ontogenetic System of Tumours and Cancer-Equivalent Diseases.” Later, with his discovery of the Fifth Biological Law in 1994, renamed it again: “The Ontogenetic System of Special Biological Programs.”

The Third Biological Law is what makes GNM a practical system rather than a theoretical one. Given any symptom – a tissue change, a functional loss, a behavioural shift – we can use the Hamer Compass to identify the germ layer involved, the brain relay, and the class of biological conflict at its origin in the organism’s psyche. If we identify the conflict content in the psyche along with the tissue, function, or behaviour that is involved in the special biological program, we can predict what to expect in the healing phase after resolving the biological conflict.
