A Hamer focus is a localized, spherical zone of electrochemical activity that corresponds with a spot of heightened nervous-system activity and a corresponding change in tissue or function in the body.
The Hamer Focus appears instantaneously at the moment of the DHS when the biological conflict forms in the psyche. It marks the brain relay corresponding to the conflict content.
During conflict activity, the Hamer focus is sharp and defined, looking like a “bulls-eye” or “target ring” formation (similar to the concentric circles that form on the surface of still water when a pebble is dropped into it).
In the healing phase (after resolution of the biological conflict), the rings of the Hamer focus become thicker, and the area inside the Hamer focus can become black with edema.
At the epi-crisis, intersecting lines become visible, looking similar to the spokes of a bicycle wheel. In PCL B, the Hamer rings, lines, and centre of the Hamer focus becomes white as the original brain tissue is replaced with glia cells.
- A Hamer focus is detectable on CT imaging of the brain or an organ as a localized feature that can be distinguished from surrounding areas.
- A Hamer focus is locatable at a specific site in the brain and organ and persists between layers of the CT (computed tomography) scan and between CT scans taken at different times.
- A Hamer focus corresponds to a concurrent increase in nervous-system activity at that location in the brain, and a simultaneous parallel tissue or functional change in the associated tissue.
Biological conflicts and special biological programs occur in all life forms that have a nervous system. However, Germanische Heilkunde practitioners depend on CT scans – especially of the brain – to understand the special biological programs of those, like animals and young children, who can’t explain their thoughts and feelings.
Interestingly, a similar “target ring formation” can even be seen in plants, such as visible changes on leaves after frost. This is because biological conflicts are the mechanism of biological evolution, irrespective of species, phylum, or even kingdom.
Note: the Hamer foci are visible spheres of electrochemical activity in the brain and body resulting from nervous system changes directed by the psyche. These are not causes of biological conflicts or special biological programs.
