- powerlessness (helplessness) and
- moving into danger (something coming at you, or you rushing toward something).
When this constellation is intense, it can drive anxiety attacks. If it combines with a fear-from-behind, that triggers a panic attack.
Phobias result from “tracks,” when you have an anxiety or panic attack, and your brain stores environmental details as a powerful “alarm track” so that when you’re noticing a similar future situation, your system launches same response.

What do I care very much about and don’t want to lose?
Then flip the loop:
Instead of “What if something bad happens?” ask, “What if something good happens?”
